1. Sponsor
The National Alaska Cruise Week 2026 Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Simple Traveler Vacations d/b/a Alaska Cruise Planning (“Sponsor”), a Florida-based travel agency.

2. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on August 16, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on August 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (“Sweepstakes Period”).
All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period.
3. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Employees, owners, contractors and immediate family or household members of Simple Traveler Vacations, Alaska Cruise Planning, and persons directly involved in administering the Sweepstakes are not eligible to enter.
Employees, owners and immediate family or household members of participating prize providers are not eligible to win a prize provided by their respective company.
The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
To enter, visit the official National Alaska Cruise Week Giveaway entry page during the Sweepstakes Period, complete the required entry form, and request the complimentary 2027 Alaska Cruise Planning Guide.
As part of entry, participants agree to receive email communications from Alaska Cruise Planning, including delivery of the Guide and future Alaska cruise planning information and marketing communications.
Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Unsubscribing after a valid entry has been submitted will not invalidate that entry or reduce the entrant’s odds of winning.
No purchase, cruise booking, consultation, payment or other transaction is required to enter or win.
A cruise does not need to be booked through Alaska Cruise Planning in order to enter, win or redeem an eligible prize.
Limit one entry per person and per email address during the Sweepstakes Period.
Duplicate, automated, fraudulent, incomplete or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified at Sponsor’s reasonable discretion.
5. Prizes
A total of approximately eight (8) prizes will be awarded.
Prize 1 — Juneau Whale-Watching Excursion for Two
Two tickets for a whale-watching excursion in Juneau, Alaska during the 2027 Alaska tourism season.
Approximate Retail Value: $500
The prize is subject to the participating tour operator’s schedule, capacity, availability, reservation procedures, operating season, weather policies and other applicable terms.
The prize does not include transportation to Juneau, cruise fare, airfare, accommodations, meals, gratuities, travel insurance, ground transportation or any other travel expenses unless specifically stated by the prize provider.
Prize 2 — White Pass Rail Excursion for Two
Two tickets for a White Pass rail excursion in Skagway, Alaska during the 2027 Alaska tourism season.
Approximate Retail Value: $400
The prize is subject to the applicable operator’s schedule, capacity, availability, reservation procedures, operating season and other applicable terms.
The prize does not include transportation to Skagway, cruise fare, airfare, accommodations, meals, gratuities, travel insurance, ground transportation or other travel expenses unless specifically stated by the prize provider.
Prize 3 — His & Her Rain Jacket Set
One set consisting of two rain jackets.
Approximate Retail Value: $200
Sizes, styles, colors and availability may vary. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute substantially similar merchandise of equal or greater approximate value if necessary.
Prizes 4–8 — Binoculars
Five winners will each receive one pair of binoculars suitable for travel and wildlife viewing.
Approximate Retail Value: $25 per pair
6. Total Approximate Retail Value
The approximate total retail value of all prizes is $1,225.
Actual retail values may vary. No difference between the stated approximate retail value and actual retail value will be paid to a winner.
7. Excursion Prize Redemption Requirements
No cruise booking is required to enter or win the Sweepstakes.
Winners of the Juneau whale-watching excursion and White Pass rail excursion may redeem those prizes only in connection with an eligible 2027 Alaska itinerary that visits the applicable port on a date when the prize provider is operating.
For the Juneau whale-watching prize, the winner’s itinerary must include a scheduled visit to Juneau, Alaska.
For the White Pass rail prize, the winner’s itinerary must include a scheduled visit to Skagway, Alaska.
Before an excursion prize is scheduled or redeemed, the winner must provide reasonable documentation confirming the applicable 2027 port call.
The qualifying cruise or travel itinerary may be booked through Alaska Cruise Planning, another travel agency, directly with a cruise line, or through any other legitimate booking source.
Booking through Alaska Cruise Planning is not required to enter, win, or redeem an excursion prize and does not increase an entrant’s odds of winning.
Alaska Cruise Planning is available to assist any winner who would like help planning or booking an eligible 2027 Alaska cruise, but use of Alaska Cruise Planning is entirely optional.
All excursion redemptions are subject to the applicable prize provider’s operating schedule, capacity, availability, reservation procedures, weather policies, and other terms and conditions.
8. Excursion Cancellation, Itinerary Changes, and Expiration
Excursion prizes are valid only for eligible travel during the 2027 Alaska season.
If a winner does not travel on an eligible 2027 itinerary that visits the applicable port, the excursion prize will expire at the end of the applicable 2027 redemption period.
If the winner’s qualifying itinerary is later canceled, changed, or altered so that it no longer visits the applicable port, the excursion prize may no longer be redeemable.
Excursion prizes:
- have no cash redemption value;
- may not be exchanged for cash;
- may not be converted to a cruise credit or travel credit;
- may not be exchanged for a future travel voucher;
- may not be transferred to a later Alaska season; and
- may not be substituted for another excursion solely because the winner’s travel plans change.
Sponsor and the applicable prize provider are not responsible for cruise cancellations, missed ports, itinerary changes, weather disruptions, transportation delays, mechanical issues, or other circumstances outside their reasonable control that prevent a winner from using the prize.
No particular wildlife sighting is guaranteed unless expressly guaranteed by the applicable tour provider.
9. Winner Selection
Potential winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
The drawing is expected to take place on or about August 24, 2026.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
An entrant may win no more than one prize.
Sponsor intends to conduct the drawings in the following order:
- Juneau whale-watching excursion for two
- White Pass rail excursion for two
- His & Her rain jacket set
- Binocular prize
- Binocular prize
- Binocular prize
- Binocular prize
- Binocular prize
After an entrant has been confirmed as a potential winner of one prize, that entrant will be removed from subsequent prize drawings.
10. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be contacted using the email address submitted with their entry.
A potential winner must respond within 72 hours of the initial notification unless Sponsor provides a longer response period.
If a potential winner:
- cannot be contacted;
- fails to respond within the required period;
- is found to be ineligible;
- declines the prize; or
- fails to provide reasonably required eligibility or prize-redemption documentation,
the potential winner may be disqualified and Sponsor may select an alternate winner by random drawing.
Sponsor will never require a winner to pay a fee, provide credit-card information or purchase travel in order to claim a prize.
11. General Prize Restrictions
Unless specifically stated otherwise:
- prizes are nontransferable;
- prizes may not be redeemed for cash;
- no cash equivalent will be awarded;
- winners are responsible for expenses not specifically included in the prize description; and
- Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater approximate value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.
Physical prizes will be shipped only to eligible addresses within the United States unless Sponsor agrees otherwise.
12. Taxes
Any federal, state or local taxes arising from acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Sponsor may require documentation reasonably necessary to comply with applicable tax-reporting obligations.
13. Prize Providers
Certain prizes may be donated, supplied or fulfilled by independent third-party tourism businesses or product providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, those businesses are prize providers only and are not responsible for administration of the Sweepstakes, selection of winners or operation of the overall promotion.
Prize-specific terms, waivers, booking procedures and restrictions imposed by the applicable provider also apply.
14. Marketing Emails and Unsubscribe Rights
By entering, participants agree to receive the 2027 Alaska Cruise Planning Guide and email communications from Alaska Cruise Planning.
Every commercial email will provide a method for recipients to unsubscribe from future marketing communications.
An entrant may unsubscribe at any time without losing a valid Sweepstakes entry or affecting the entrant’s odds of winning.
15. Privacy
Information collected through the Sweepstakes will be used for administration of the Giveaway, delivery of the 2027 Alaska Cruise Planning Guide, permitted marketing communications and related Alaska Cruise Planning purposes in accordance with Sponsor’s applicable privacy practices.
Sponsor will not sell individual Sweepstakes entrant information to participating prize providers.
16. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to announce and use the winner’s first name, city and state, prize won, and related non-sensitive information for purposes of announcing Sweepstakes results and promoting National Alaska Cruise Week without additional compensation.
Sponsor will not publicly disclose a winner’s email address, telephone number or other private contact information.
17. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to comply with these Official Rules and accept Sponsor’s decisions concerning administration of the Sweepstakes as final, subject to applicable law.
Sponsor may disqualify an entrant who attempts to tamper with the entry process, submit fraudulent or automated entries, interfere with administration of the Sweepstakes or otherwise violate these Official Rules.
If fraud, technical problems, natural disasters or other circumstances outside Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect the integrity or operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may modify, suspend or terminate the promotion as permitted by applicable law.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, entrants and winners release and hold harmless Simple Traveler Vacations d/b/a Alaska Cruise Planning and participating prize providers from claims arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of a prize, except for liability that cannot legally be waived.
Participation in whale watching, rail transportation, travel and other activities associated with a prize may involve risks and is subject to the applicable operator’s rules, waivers and safety requirements.
19. Facebook and Instagram Disclaimer
This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
By entering, participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Simple Traveler Vacations d/b/a Alaska Cruise Planning and not to Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
20. Winner Announcement
Confirmed winners may be announced beginning on or after August 24, 2026 through Alaska Cruise Planning’s website, social-media accounts and/or email communications.
A winner will not be publicly announced until eligibility has been confirmed and the prize has been accepted.
21. Governing Law
The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
22. Acceptance of Official Rules
By entering the National Alaska Cruise Week 2026 Giveaway, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Official Rules.
